Food & Life Philosophy

I love food.Real food. The things we eat should be things people are supposed to eat. Humans have been eating since, well, forever. Packaged foods made with ingredients from a laboratory have been around for 2-3 generations. Our bodies have NOT evolved to keep up with fake food science. So when I use fat, I use real fat, but less of it. Fat adds flavor and helps us feel full. When I use sweet, I use real sweet. The brain functions on nothing but glucose (sugar) except in rare circumstances, but my brain gets most of its glucose from fresh, whole foods (not straight sugar, or even worse, little pink/blue/yellow packets).

Life is not about food. Life is not about work. Life is not about exercise. Life IS about our experience of it. It is about the time we spend and what we do with it. For me, life is about love. Love of people, love of food, love of fun. Life is about deciding what’s important, and enjoying those things. Take time for them. Make them a priority.

Normally I don't recommend multitasking food, fun and exercise, but I just couldn't help myself!
